In 2008 it is ten years since Dr.
Suzuki passed away. TERI has decided to dedicate the year
to Dr. Suzuki and is calling it “The Suzuki Memorial Year”.
“The Suzuki Memorial Year” will begin with Dr. Suzuki’s 10th
Anniversary Memorial Concert which will be held at the
Matsumoto Performing Arts Centre next to the Talent
Education Research Institute on January 25, 2008 and a Mass
for Dr. Suzuki the next day, January 26 at 10:30 at the
Catholic Church in Matsumoto.
There will be events and concerts in various areas
throughout Japan during “The Suzuki Memorial Year”. “ The
Suzuki Memorial Year” will finish with the 52nd
Grand Concert which will be held at the Budokan Hall in
Tokyo on March 30, 2009.
